June 10, 2010
I invite you to join me in participating in one of my favorite national traditions, the Fourth of July Parade. I've been hard at work in Congress fighting against big bank bailouts, eliminating wasteful spending, and bringing jobs to the region, and I can not wait to unwind by hitting the parade route in celebration of our Independence Day.
This year I will be walking in seven local Fourth of July Parades, and I would be honored if you would join me on the parade route in your community. With so many parades, there are more opportunities than ever to join the Visclosky Team and personally demonstrate to friends and neighbors your support for my campaign.
This year I will be walking in the following communities:

Hebron High School, 307 South Main Street

All volunteers will be provided a free Visclosky for Congress t-shirt to wear in the parade. Please note that after finishing the parade route we will not be able to provide rides to the parade origination points, so please be sure to make arrangements for return transportation.
Click here now to confirm your participation in one or more of the parades. Or, for more information please contact Cindy Wagner, Visclosky for Congress Campaign Manager, at cindy.wagner@viscloskyforcongress.us – or call my campaign headquarters at (219) 736-2100.
Also while you visit my website, keep in mind that there is a very important election this fall and I would be very grateful if you took the time to sign up to volunteer at my campaign headquarters or to display a Visclosky yard sign this fall.
In addition to gathering with family and friends for backyard BBQs and firework displays, it is my hope that you will also add a local parade to your holiday schedule. And if you are unable to walk, I still hope to have your support from the sidelines with a friendly wave or 'Hello.'
I will continue to keep up the fight for you in Congress. Will you walk with me?
I thank you for your ongoing support,
