As you know, the start of 2010 brings another busy election season with much to be done, so let's kick off my 2010 campaign season together. I'd be delighted if you would join me on Saturday, February 13th from 11 am to 1 pm at the Operating Engineers Local 150 Union Hall in Merrillville for a Valentine's Day Weekend Brunch.

Despite the difficult economy, I am encouraged by what we’ve been able to accomplish together over the course of 2009 to help keep good jobs in our district, to set a course for economic development and a better quality of life across Northwest Indiana. As we look to the coming year, I am already hard at work, fighting to secure federal funds for necessary infrastructure projects in our region, to bring quality affordable health care to all, and to build a better future for our communities. As always, I greatly appreciate your support.
