What better way to mark the unofficial end of summer than by marching with me in the oldest running Labor Day parade in the state of Indiana – in fact, one of the oldest in the entire Midwest?
On Monday, September 7, our friends in Lowell will put on their 90th Annual Labor Day Parade – complete with floats, marching bands and festivities throughout the day. I’ll be walking in the parade and would be delighted if you would join me and personally show your support for my re-election to Congress.
It starts at the Dairy Queen and runs west to the American Legion grounds. Lineup time is at 9am and the parade will start at 10.
Click here to confirm your participation and to get more information from my campaign website. Or feel free to contact Cindy Wagner, Visclosky for Congress Campaign Manager, at cindy.wagner@viscloskyforcongress.us – or at my campaign headquarters at (219) 736-2100.
All volunteers will be provided a free Visclosky for Congress t-shirt to wear in the parade. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide rides to the parade origination points, so please be sure to make arrangements for return transportation.
As much as I regret summer coming to and end, I can’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than being in Lowell for its fabulous Labor Day Parade. Hope to see you there!
And thank you for your ongoing support…
Pete
